This online workshop aims to increase parents/caregivers’ familiarity with the tech devices and apps young children are using, and increase their comfort in communicating effectively with their children about online safety. Participants will learn:

Tips for speaking to children about tech and social media usage
Safety settings for popular gaming and social media apps
Signs of grooming and exploitation

Workshop is designed for parents and caregivers of children of all ages. (60 mins, Zoom)

The New York Foundling’s Junior Board—a dynamic group of young professionals dedicated to advancing our mission—proudly hosts our annual spring event, The Blue Party. Each May, The Blue Party brings together more than 400 guests who share a commitment to supporting our neighbors on their journey to stability, strength, and independence. Since its inception this signature event has raised more than $1 million to support our lifechanging programs for children, adults, and families.
