Mr. Brunckhorst is a native New Yorker with a long and deep commitment to the work of The New York Foundling. As he tells the story, his mother, when seeing the Sisters caring for the little children on 68th Street “suggested” (read insisted) that he contribute to their work from his hard earned allowance. Mr. Brunckhorst and his two cousins run the successful and quality driven Boar’s Head Provisions company, a privately held family business. Last year the company moved from its venerable (founded in 1905) headquarters in Brooklyn to Florida. Frank Brunckhorst is the great grandson of the founder of Boar’s Head of the same name.
