Ilana is a pediatric dentist and has spent the last 8 years working with children in this capacity. Most recently, she was an associate at Kreiner Dental, a private practice in Paramus, NJ. Additionally, she is a board member of Teens For Food Justice, a non-profit dedicated to teaching children about food insecurity, community advocacy, and nutrition. She is also involved with BabyQuest, a non-profit that provides financial support to families having difficulty conceiving, and mentors individuals going through infertility through the organization Fruitful. She was an early supporter and advisor to Tournesol Kids, a non-profit focused on teaching caregivers and educators developmental strategies.
Ilana received her BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and both her DDS and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She is currently a candidate to obtain an MA in child and adolescent development from the University of Minnesota’s Institute of Child Development. Through recent children’s yoga and mindfulness trainings, Ilana enjoys exploring ways to best equip children with knowledge and skills to manage the challenges of everyday life.

There is no other organization I’m aware of in New York City that does so much for the underserved children in our community. Everyone that calls New York home should be aware of the amazing things the people at the New York Foundling do every day to improve the lives of these children and their families. Mr. Oneglia is a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone and Co-Head of Distressed Investing. He sits on the investment committees for Blackstone Credit’s distressed funds and energy funds.
Mr. Oneglia joined Blackstone after 20 years at Goldman Sachs. Most recently, Mr. Oneglia was the Partner that led the Americas Multi-Strategy Investment (MSI) team within the Special Situations Group (SSG). Prior to that, he co-led the same team from 2009 to 2017. The MSI team specializes in distressed, stressed and performing credit as well as reorg equity and other opportunistic asset classes. In addition to his responsibilities within MSI, since 2014 he co-led a direct-lending team focused on middle-market North American oil and gas companies and formed and co-led a JV between MSI and SSG’s real estate team focused on healthcare assets across the United States. Mr. Oneglia was a member of the America’s SSG Illiquid and Liquid Screening Groups as well as the Securities Division Risk Council.
Mr. Oneglia graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in History and a Certificate in Latin American Studies and resides in New York City with his wife and three children.

I am delighted to serve on the Board of The New York Foundling. The Foundling is engaged with children of all ages, as well as parents, foster parents and social agencies. Education for healthy living is the focus. As a Sister of Charity, it is an honor to be associated with these efforts.”
Sr. Sheila Brosnan currently serves as Counselor for the Sisters of Charity. Her background includes teaching, health care, and service outside the US, in Chile and Guatemala. She previously served as Chair of the Board of the Brooklyn Nursing Home Facilities, and Home Care, associated with the former St Vincent’s Hospital. As Vice President for Mission, in health care institutions, she came to appreciate the extraordinary contributions of staff. Sister Sheila’s educational background includes an MA in Spanish Literature, an MA in Religious Studies, and a BSN in Nursing.

Mr. Mullane is a Senior Vice President in Brookfield Asset Management’s Private Funds Group, where he is responsible for client coverage in the Northeast and Midwest of the United States and national coverage of private equity/private debt consulting firms. Prior to joining Brookfield, David held senior leadership positions at Taconic Capital Advisors, a multi-strategy hedge fund firm, and in BlackRock’s Institutional Client Group and its Alternative Investments Strategies Group, where he was responsible for working closely with the firm’s clients and portfolio managers to develop, position and distribute the firm’s range of alternative investment solutions to clients globally. Prior to joining BlackRock, David held senior positions in the alternative investment business units at JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch. He began his career as a corporate attorney with Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance). He earned a BA degree in English and economics and a JD degree – both from Georgetown University.

Ms. Werner has been a partner in the Capital Markets practice of Clifford Chance since 2000.. Ms. Werner primarily represents companies and investment banks in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Ms. Werner’s clients include public and private companies in the financial services, real estate and media industries. She acts as regular outside corporate and SEC counsel to many of her clients. In addition, Ms. Werner regularly represents investment banking firms acting as underwriters and initial purchasers in public and private securities offerings. Ms. Werner’s transactional experience includes initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, investment grade debt offerings and high-yield debt offerings. Ms. Werner also regularly represents her corporate clients in their merger and acquisition activities. Ms. Werner and Clifford Chance’s REIT practice have been recognized as leaders in the REIT industry by Chambers USA and Chambers Global. Ms. Werner earned a BA cum laude in 1988 from St. Joseph’s University and a JD cum laude in 1991 from Georgetown University Law Center. She is admitted to practice in New York. Ms. Werner has been a partner with Clifford Chance since 2000 and is based in its New York office.

Sister Charlotte Raftery is a member of the Sisters of Charity of New York, Founders and Sponsors of the Foundling. She is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who resigned just recently as a Faculty Advisor with MSW students in the Fordham University School of Social Service. She has extensive experience in the field of Child Welfare, having served for many years as Director of Preventive Services at LSA Family Health Service. Sister Charlotte currently volunteers as a mentor to persons in the New York City shelter system in the Leadership Skills Training and Empowerment Program, an outreach of St. Francis Xavier Church in Manhattan.

Mr. Roffe is a partner at Robinson & Cole LLP and has been practicing law in New York since 1972. He previously served as Executive Counsel to Speaker Stanley Fink of the New York State Assembly, as Legislative Counsel to Westchester County Executive Alfred B. DelBello and as Legislative Aide and Political Consultant to members of both the US Senate and House of Representatives. He is President of The Roffe Group P.C., a New York lobbying firm. Mr. Roffe has lectured on Government Affairs and Administrative Law issues at New York University, Columbia University School of Law, Pace University School of Law, the State University of New York at Albany and Manhattanville College. He is admitted to practice in New York State and is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York State Bar Association. He graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. and received his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law. He is married to Anna and living in NYC with 3 kids, Michael, Sarah & Matthew.

Mr. Brunckhorst is a native New Yorker with a long and deep commitment to the work of The New York Foundling. As he tells the story, his mother, when seeing the Sisters caring for the little children on 68th Street “suggested” (read insisted) that he contribute to their work from his hard earned allowance. Mr. Brunckhorst and his two cousins run the successful and quality driven Boar’s Head Provisions company, a privately held family business. Last year the company moved from its venerable (founded in 1905) headquarters in Brooklyn to Florida. Frank Brunckhorst is the great grandson of the founder of Boar’s Head of the same name. He has no siblings. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a major in finance. He resides in Florida and his hobbies include travel and boating.

Mr. King is CEO of Ridge Road Properties LLC, a real estate investment company. Previously, he has been at Clifford Chance LLP, one of the world’s largest law firms. At Clifford Chance, Mr. King was a partner, Global Head of Capital Markets, Head of Corporate Finance and a member of its executive committee. Mr. King graduated from Colgate University and Harvard Law School.

Ms. Mulvaney is a CPA and partner at the professional service firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She has served clients in the entertainment and media industries as well as not-for-profit organizations since joining PwC. In 2010 Ms. Mulvaney joined PwC’s internal Ethics & Compliance office where she oversees policy and monitoring activities in the areas of ethics, privacy and client confidentiality and personal independence. She is an officer of the PwC Foundation and is also an Advisory Board member at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. Ms. Mulvaney is a graduate of Georgetown University. As a member of The Foundling Board for more than 15 years, she is a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Program Quality Committee. Additionally, she is the chair of the Mott Haven Academy Charter School Board.
