The educational goal of APSAC’s Advanced Training Summit is to foster professional excellence in the field of child maltreatment by providing interdisciplinary professional education. The Advanced Training Summit includes 10 advanced training institutes, 17 advanced training workshops, and 47 information/discussion round tables which address all aspects of child maltreatment including prevention, cultural issues assessment, intervention and treatment with victims, perpetrators and families affected by physical, sexual and psychological abuse and neglect.
