In-Kind Donations – Each year, thoughtful individuals, schools, workplace groups and companies donate gift items that go directly to the children and families in The Foundling’s care.  The bounty of gifts helps us ensure that all families have adequate gifts for the holidays, children have clothing, book bags and supplies at the beginning of the school year, and every camper has everything he or she needs for the time away from home.  Find out how your in-kind donations of new toys, unused clothing, camp supplies, retail gift cards and tickets to shows and sporting events will provide immediate and practical support to our children and families, while also brightening their days.

Gifts of Stock – We are pleased to accept gifts of appreciated securities.  Our donors can avoid paying capital gains and receive a tax deduction for the appreciated value of their securities as of the day of transfer.  Simply call 212-886-4043 and ask us to email our Stock Transfer Account information to your broker.  It is important either you or your broker call or email us to advise us of the transfer so that we can follow the transaction and acknowledge your gift in a timely manner.

Matching Gifts – You can double or even triple the impact of your donation through your company’s Matching Gifts Program.  Simply inquire to see if your company will match your gift to The Foundling and send a completed matching form along with your donation.

Workplace Giving – Many employers offer a workplace giving program where employees can make regular contributions to the charity of their choice through automatic, pre-tax payroll deductions.  Contact your Human Resources Department to see whether you can support The Foundling through this simple arrangement.
